Speaking Club

We meet in small groups of up to 4 people, so everyone has plenty of time to speak. Each session has a clear topic and simple conversation tasks to help you practise naturally.I guide the discussion, support you with vocabulary, and help you correct mistakes in a gentle way.

Which levels do you teach?

A2 (Elementary) to C1 (Advanced).

What video platform do you use?

We usually use Zoom, as I believe it provides the best video and audio quality, but we can also use Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.

What do I need for the lessons?

A mobile device or a PC with a camera and a headset. Please try to connect from a quiet space, preferably using a headset, so you can have the best possible learning experience.

Do I get materials and homework?

Yes. All materials and optional homework are included at no extra cost.

What is your time zone?

Europe/Lisbon - GMT (Greenwhich Mean Time).

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non refundable. Rescheduling is possible with sufficient notice.

How long are packages valid?

Packs are valid for 30 days from your first lesson.

How big are Speaking Club groups?

Up to 4 learners per group.

I'm Elena, a linguist who's spent over two decades using English in international professional environments. Today, I work as a full-time English teacher.I have a bachelor's degree in linguistics, specialising in English and Japanese translation. Before becoming a full-time teacher, I worked with international companies including Shell, BP, and Schlumberger as a translator, contract negotiator, and copywriter.Those roles taught me how English is used in real workplaces, not just in textbooks.
